Mirjam Clement was born July 1980, the second child of three siblings. Her mother is from Norway, and her father is originally from New Zealand.

Mirjam grew up in the little town Norheimsund, by the Hardangerfjord in west Norway.

After high school, she attended Bergen National Academy of the Arts, studying visual communication, but missed working practically with the artworks so moved to Academia Di Belle Arti in Bologna, Italy for her last year to study graphic printing techniques.

After going back to Bergen for a year, Mirjam moved to Oslo for six years, studying special makeup effects and later dental prosthetics.

After the years with graphic designing, she saw "bad resolution" as her main source for inspiration while painting.

From a young age, Mirjam has participated in many design and illustration projects, and her paintings have been displayed in art exhibitions. She is also working directly with private customers.
